MARIYA

Lap Cat Extraordinaire!

One of the benefits of adopting an adult cat is a predictable personality. We can guarantee Mariya will be a lap cat and cuddle bug. She’s been with us several months and takes advantage of EVERY opportunity to crawl into someone’s lap.

Mariya will stay in your lap as long as you let her. She is very sweet and gentle. This gorgeous, petite, stray is front-declawed. She is about 12 years old, but she still has SO much love to share. If you want a mellow, cuddly companion and you’ve got space on your lap, this is the perfect cat for you!

Please note we only adopt out cats to families in lower Fairfield County and nearby New York.

Rosemary is a beautiful, four-year-old girl, who is looking for a quiet home as an only cat. She's slightly cross-eyed, which only adds to her charm. She is shy but enjoys familiar people in familiar settings. Once she gets to know you, she will give you her belly and cuddle with you. She may even tell you all about her Yankee Stadium experience!

FINNIGAN

Cats, Finnigan, FOF, pets IMG_3111-Edit_December 21, 2018-2.jpg

Third Time Is the Charm! Finnigan is a gorgeous, three-year-old, Maine Coon mix who has had a run of bad luck. His original owner let him outside and he was hit by a car resulting in a severe hind leg injury. He was surrendered to us to get the medical care he needed including the amputation of his leg. He was then adopted into a family that subsequently got a second cat who he did not get along with; so, he was surrendered to us again.

Finnigan deserves a forever home! He loves attention and to be brushed and played with. He will follow you around like a puppy, but he is not needy (he just enjoys the company). Finnigan is looking for a home in which he can be the only cat. In return, he will be fabulous companion.

SEATON

Star Athlete Looking for a Team: Seaton is our star athlete who was rescued from the streets. He is a handsome, high energy, one-year-old cat with a big personality. His favorite past times include tug-of-war and chasing feathers on strings. He is inquisitive and can be quite chatty. He enjoys pets and being held but sometimes he doesn't - he'll let you know!

Seaton is like many rescued tomcats, it takes a while for them to learn to communicate without love nips. If you are an experienced cat person or family (no young children) looking to draft an entertaining and active companion, Seaton could be perfect for your team!

Our special kitty Oyster found his special home. Thanks to your support, we were able to rescue him twice and provide medical care for his rare disease. We are grateful for his new family wanting to adopt him even with his medical issues. His new mom reported that he is doing very well in his new home. He is a joyful cat and we wish him and his new family all the best!!
