Our beloved Juniper, gave us such love, joy and pure happiness in the 12 years we were blessed to have her with us. A Friends of Felines rescue kitty, I fell in love with Juniper the minute I laid eyes on her at an adoption event back in 2007! We miss her always and will forever hold her dear to our hearts. Love you my little cha cha.

This is a challenging time for everyone, including rescue organizations like Friends of Felines.

Dear Friends:
I want to provide an update on how the coronavirus is affecting our organization.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we critically need TEMPORARY FOSTER HOMES for our cats boarded at Just Cats. For the safety of the Just Cats staff and our volunteers, we are no longer able to visit these cats. Until today, volunteers visited our cats on a daily basis to monitor their health, provide socialization, and gather input for their adoption profiles. We currently have over 20 cats boarding at Just Cats. We are looking to move as many as possible into temporary foster homes.
If you have fostered for us in the past, please email us at cats@fofct.org. If you are a new foster, please complete our online adoption application (click here) and indicate you are interested in fostering. To foster, you will need a closed room in your home (separated from other animals in the house), time to spend with them, and your own transportation. We will cover all medical costs and can provide supplies and food, if needed.
In addition to fosters, we are asking for DONATIONS. We expect that adoptions will drop off dramatically as people are focused on other important issues and sheltering in their homes. The need for Friends of Felines’ services in the community is on-going. In order to continue to provide critical care to community cats and to help us meet our obligations, please consider donating if you can.
You can make a monetary donation via the Paypal button in the upper right corner of this page or click here for a donation form, our Facebook page can be accessed here, or our Instagram page at fof_cats (mobile app only). For food, toy and other supply donations, please use our Amazon Wish List (click here).

Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time. While we spend more time at home for the health of our community, let's use this opportunity to give our cats some extra hugs, kisses and playtime. Stay safe.
