Very Purrty! Meet Peggy, a one-year-old calico rescued along with her family of tame, community cats. Clearly once belonging to someone, she is gentle, affectionate and playful.

Peggy is a very purrty youngster who is easy to pick-up and loves human attention, mouse toys and soft cushy beds. Like many cats rescued from the streets, she will appreciate having some time to get comfortable with new people and environments. She would be happy as an only cat (it is too soon to tell if she would also be happy with another respectful cat).

Cats, Danielle, FOF, pets IMG_2889-gigapixel-scale-4_00x_December 21, 2020 - 2020-12-21 at 13-35-36.jpg

Full of Spunk! We first met Dani at barely four weeks of age, a shivering and underweight kitten sitting on a sidewalk in a very busy neighborhood. She was in very poor condition but she showed us her fighting spirit. Now she's a three-month-old, active, intelligent and independent little girl with a clean bill of health and a beautifully soft tabby coat.

Dani is a very busy kitten with a sense of humor and an endless fascination with everything. She will need a like-minded, high-energy companion to laugh along with her.

If you would like to invite this spunky girl into your home, please complete our online adoption application which can be found by clicking here

Please note we only adopt out kittens in pairs unless there is an age-appropriate companion already in the home. Also, we only adopt to homes in lower Fairfield County and nearby NY.

Meet Ivan, a 10-year-old cat that had been living in someone’s backyard for many months. He was brought to us when he started losing weight. He was diagnosed with diabetes and is looking for a special forever home that will help him manage his condition.

If you think you could do this, keep reading because he is a very cool cat! Ivan is loving, smart, eager for attention and mischievous. He enjoys running around and exploring as well as cuddling. He is also very chatty and will share his opinions with you.

NERISSA 14feb2019 when she first met us_June 19, 2020 - 2020-06-19 at 19-34-58.jpg

720 days and counting. Nerissa is desperately looking for a forever home. The first half of her time with us was spent socializing her. We will never know what happened to Nerissa before she was rescued but she was absolutely terrified of people initially. But, she has come so far, learning to trust people and enjoy life. Today, she is a lover, a player, a beauty queen, and a goofball. She is 3 years old and good with other gentle, respectful cats. She can still be a little spicy sometimes so a cat savvy family would be ideal.

Meet Cougar, a six-year old tabby who looks a bit like his wild feline namesake. He was surrendered by his family because he was not getting along with other cats in the home. He is living in a FOF foster home and now it’s time to find him a forever home.

Cougar acts like a teenager: running around, playing on his cat tree, chasing toys, and watching TV. He likes to be around people, comes when called, and hangs out with the family on the couch. He’s got a little cattitude but sends very clear signals when he wants a little space. In the ideal home, he would be the only pet and have a cat-savvy family with a sense of humor.
