DIEGO

Looking For a Simple Life.

Meet Diego, a charming, one-year-old male that came to us through Stamford Animal Control in need of medical attention. Diego has a complicated past. He was trapped last year as a young, feral cat and then neutered and returned to his neighborhood. Since then, he became very comfortable with people. Unfortunately, he was kicked by someone which broke his jaw. It healed slightly off-kilter (only adding to his charm).

He is healthy now and looking for a simple life in a home where he can love and be loved. He would prefer a quiet home and slow introductions. But once he trusts you, he is EXTREMELY affectionate. All of our volunteers love spending time with Diego.

Who Can Resist Those Faces!

Meet Kombucha (black) and Kefir (black with white toes, tail tip, chest spot & belly). They are three-month-old, adorable, bonded, male siblings rescued from an empty housing complex after a maintenance person found them alone in the basement of one of the buildings.

Their foster mom has nothing but good things to say about them: very social, affectionate, and little purr boxes when you pick them up. Like most kittens, they are high energy and will play with anything and each other. Their favorite non-play activities are looking out the window and curling up together for naps. If you are looking for a pair of well-adjusted kittens, consider Kombucha and Kefir.

BANZAI & ED

Cute X 2!
Meet Banzai and Ed, two-month-old brothers. They were part of a large litter of kittens. Their mom moved the rest of the litter but left these two behind. So, we stepped in to raise them, bottle feeding them for the first 4-5 weeks.

They are in a foster home now and their new mom says that they are: adorable and inquisitive; love to be cuddled (purring as soon as you touch them); and they like everyone they meet. They will be available for adoption soon (must be adopted together)!

LIAM

Cats, FOF, Liam, pets DSCF3648 copy_July 05, 2019.jpg

High on life! Meet Liam, a two-year-old ginger trapped at an empty housing project scheduled for renovation. He spent the last year fending for himself outside and in empty buildings. Despite being abandoned by his family, he loves people.

Liam also does everything with enthusiasm and a lot of energy including playing, eating and giving affection. He can be a high energy kitty romping around or a giant, purring mush on your lap. Occasionally in his excitement, he nips or scratches. We believe this should subside with time; but, in the interim, he would do best with an experienced cat owner or family. He gets along with other respectful cats.

If you want an outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic, and loveable cat, Liam could be your guy!

MAYA

Cats, FOF, Maya, pets IMG_4631_February 21, 2019.jpg

Meet Maya, a stunning, silky, blue-eyed Tonkinese mix and a high energy teen who lives for playtime. Just wiggle a toy and she is right next to you waiting for the games to begin. She'll scamper, leap, prance and twirl in sheer delight. She enjoys the company of people but prefers to engage through play (versus touch). She is NOT a lap cat but she will be an energetic, vivacious, and entertaining companion.

An experienced adopter (or family) that is committed to providing regular playtime and appreciates a little cattitude is essential for our spirited girl!

Link’s Journey: Link has come a long way in his first year. He was rescued after being abandoned by his mother in grave condition with seriously infected eyes. Now one-year-old, he is recovered and looking to take the next major step on his journey, hopefully into your home.

Link is a volunteer and Just Cats staff favorite. He is happiest riding around on someone’s shoulder or playing. Link is an adorable, happy guy who is also a little fresh! His vision is slightly impaired, but it does not slow him down. If you are looking for a fearless, high energy kitten with a big personality, consider Link.

BEAU

Social Butterfly (or kitty in this case): Meet Beau, a 10-month-old boy rescued with major medical issues. Stamford Animal Control found this little guy outside - underweight, dirty and painfully in need of emergency surgery for rectal prolapse. All went remarkably well, even being stuck in a medical e-collar for a two week recovery period, and we began to see a once miserable Beau begin to actually look hopeful. Just a little more fine tuning with a limited diet to fix a few allergies and we now have the perfect cat!

Our new Beau has the sweetest disposition. He is happy and curious and very social, liking every person and cat he meets. And, if you are lucky and he rolls over to show you his belly, you will see the cutest bullseye!
