Alonso: An Absolute Unit! DOB 11/21/2023. Handsome, solid and sturdy, Alonso has left the outdoor life far behind him. He is now charming all our volunteers with his good nature, curiosity, casual playfulness, and cleverness – even figuring out how to open a box of treats all on his own! This easygoing, affectionate guy loves to be pet and to lounge alongside you; he generally prefers to keep paws on the ground rather than being carried for any length of time. He is somewhere between curious and neutral about other cats.
Like many former street cats, Alonso has tested positive for FIV. However, he is healthy and expected to live a normal lifespan with the same veterinary care any cat should receive.

Rabbit
Rabbit: A True Sweetheart. Rabbit showed up in a volunteer’s backyard, and when we initially trapped her, we assumed she was feral. Boy, were we wrong!! The word our volunteers keep using to describe Rabbit is sweetheart—and it fits her perfectly. This young girl is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and happiest when she’s near her people.
Rabbit is also curious and playful, always interested in whatever you’re doing. And when she’s especially happy, her big fluffy tail does the cutest little shimmer.
While she adores people, Rabbit has made it clear she’d prefer not to share her home with other cats. She’ll be happiest as the center of someone’s world.

His recovery took time, and while he got the medical care he needed, the lack of early socialization left him unsure about people. Still, he's made progress—especially lately. Volunteers who spend time with him report that he is curious and interactive, asks for pets, and enjoys playtime.
Like many cats stuck in a cage for too long, Rascal finds the confinement frustrating. He’s known to swipe and hiss when it's time to go back in—and honestly, we get it. It's likely his worst behavior is tied more to circumstance than character.
Rascal has feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), so his immune system is slightly compromised. However, he can live a full, happy life—even with other cats, as long as they get along. We can direct you to good independent resources to learn more about FIV.
We believe the shelter setting has stifled Rascal’s potential, and we’d love to see him in a calm, consistent foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can finally decompress and thrive. He needs an understanding cat person who will give him time, space, and gentle encouragement. Thor – The Playful, Fun-loving Warrior-Thor may have started his journey as a street cat, but he’s fully embracing the comforts of indoor life! This long, lean youngster with exotic features is playful, curious, and always ready for fun. Thor has plenty of energy to burn, whether chasing a laser pointer, batting around his favorite ball, or wrestling with a feline friend. But when playtime is over, he’s just as happy curling up on your lap while you read or watch TV at night, perching by a window watching activity in the yard, or lounging under the covers for a cozy nap. He also enjoys belly rubs and will let you trim his nails.
Tigger
T-I-double guh-er! That spells Tigger! DOB: 8/4/24. Like his namesake from Winnie the Pooh, this Tigger is truly a wonderful boy! True to his name, Tigger has a playful, bouncy, fun-fun-fun spirit that makes him completely one of a kind. He absolutely loves wand toys and will chase them with joyful determination until he’s happily worn out - bringing laughter and delight to everyone lucky enough to watch.
