Lucinda:  A Playful Heart 
with an Independent Spirit

Lucinda is a beautiful independent girl with a playful streak and a delightfully silly side that emerges once she feels comfortable. Found trying to survive on the streets, pouncing on anything that might resemble lunch, she now greatly enjoys leisurely playtime. Feather wands, tunnels, and rope toys are among her favorite things, and watching her leap and tumble after them is guaranteed to make you smile. Though initially very shy when she first arrived, Lucinda has been growing noticeably braver every day — exploring more, gently taking treats from hands, and even leaning into pets from trusted volunteers.

While Lucinda loves interactive play, she is not a clingy cat. She values her personal space and prefers companionship on her own terms, so taking things slowly and earning her trust is an important part of bonding with her. Lucinda does not enjoy other cats and would do best as the only pet in a calm, quiet home with a patient, cat-savvy adopter  - someone who appreciates the quieter, more independent side of cats and who will find great reward in watching her slowly blossom.
