Jax, 3 year old male
FELINO DESTACADO

Like many former street cats, Alonso has tested positive for FIV. However, he is healthy and expected to live a normal lifespan with the same veterinary care any cat should receive.
This friendly guy is ready to move on to a forever home where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. Maybe yours? Start the introductions with Alonso by submitting our online adoption application

He has medium energy, enjoys playing with toys, watching the world outside the window, and soaking up attention from his people. Bennett purrs almost nonstop when he’s being loved on and enjoys snuggling, though he’ll politely let you know when he’s had enough.
Currently in a foster home, Bennett enjoys being brushed and even tolerates nail trims. He hasn’t had experience with other cats or young children, so a patient introduction—or a home where he can soak up all the attention—may be best.
Bennett is FIV-positive but healthy and is expected to live a normal lifespan with the same quality and timely veterinary care any cat should receive.
If you’d like to meet Bennett, please submit an adoption application

Found outside Stamford Animal Control, Carina was likely abandoned — but this stunning black beauty hasn’t let that dim her spirit. About 2 years old, she’s confident, playful (she loves the laser pointer), and easy to handle. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly affectionate, rubbing against your legs or climbing right into your lap.
Carina prefers to be the only cat and will need a little time to adjust to new surroundings — but with patience (and a few treats, since she’s very food motivated), she’ll reward you with love and loyalty.
Carina’s ready for a forever home where she’ll never be left behind again.

According to her foster mom, Clara is as loving as they come. She thrives on affection and gently reminds you when she’s ready for more snuggles—rubbing against your hands, nuzzling your face, and ensuring she’s always close. You can carry her, smother her with kisses, stroke her from nose to tail—she loves it all, even belly rubs!
She is laid back; loud noises and unexpected movements don’t faze her.
Clara has one simple request: to be the queen of your heart and your home. Other cats? No, thank you! She much prefers to have all the attention to herself.
If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will adore you endlessly, Clara is your girl. She is estimated to be around 2 years old.
She’s ready to be someone’s beloved pet again—could it be you? If you’d like to meet her, please submit our online adoption application:

With his soft, expressive eyes and sweet “old-soul” face, Crosby has a way of drawing you in from the moment you meet him. He seeks out attention, happily greeting you for pets, leaning in for cheek rubs, and offering enthusiastic head-butts. And when it’s time to relax? Crosby is more than ready to settle in for some quality lap time.
Crosby’s heart belongs to people—but not to other cats. Because of his past experiences, he’s looking for a home where he can be your one and only. Like many former tomcats, Crosby can sometimes get a little overstimulated and may nip when his feelings get big. He’s still learning how to communicate those moments, so a cat-savvy adopter (and a home with older children) will help him continue to thrive.
He is on a special diet to manage urinary crystals, which will be important for maintaining his long-term health.
Crosby is the kind of cat who forms a deep, meaningful bond with his person or family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle spirit, a handsome face, and so much love to give—Crosby is ready to be your guy.
If you’d like to meet Crosby, please submit the online adoption application

Her foster mom said it best: “This girl just wants to have fun.” Wand toys and fuzzy toy mice are her favorites, leading to energetic displays of athleticism and comedy. But once she winds down, she’s easy to handle and affectionate, making her a delight in every way.
Dani must be adopted with another young cat, with exceptions made if you already have an age- and energy-appropriate companion for her in your home.
Dani is ready to bring nonstop smiles and happy chaos to her forever home.

Now safe indoors, Fannie is showing who she really is: a calm, thoughtful cat who enjoys being near her people, soaking up sunshine, and watching the world go by. She’s not a lap cat, but she’s always close, offering her steady, peaceful presence.
She’s clever and quietly playful (she loves pompoms!) and enjoys simple routines like brushing and gentle pets—on her terms.
Fannie would do best in a quiet home where she can be the only feline queen. If you’re looking for a low-key companion with a big heart, Fannie might be the one.

Heather seeks comfort from people—hold out your hand and she’ll lean in, quietly soaking up affection. Once she feels safe, she enjoys belly rubs and getting her luxurious, silky fur brushed.
Overwhelmed by the noise of boarding life, Heather would thrive in a calm, predictable home with patient humans who let her set the pace. She doesn’t appear to be a fan of other cats, so she would probably be happiest as the only cat. This tender girl will continue to blossom into a loving companion.

Here’s Jerry in a nutshell: Mellow and gentle Into pets A world-class biscuit maker Explorer Extremely easy on the eyes
There is nothing plain about this tabby. Jerry’s markings are stunning, and his calm, steady presence brings an easy sense of comfort. He’s happy to settle beside you for pets and lap time, often kneading away with his expert biscuit-making skills.
Jerry enjoys playtime too—chasing wand toys, batting springs, and zooming through tunnels—but he’s just as happy exploring his surroundings before returning to a cozy spot to relax.
We’re still learning how Jerry feels about other cats. So far, he hasn’t shown a strong preference, so slow introductions or a home where he can be your one and only cat would suit him best.
With his gentle nature, affectionate personality, and movie-star good looks, Jerry is the total package.
If you’d like to meet Jerry, please submit an adoption application

This big, energetic boy loves his catnip, the laser pointer, and chasing wand toys. He’s a bright, confident cat and is learning to walk on a harness. Beneath the swagger, Lorenzo also has a sweet, affectionate side and can be an absolute lovebug. He’s still a young tomcat finding his rhythm after being recently rescued and neutered, but we think he’s entertaining and very charming.
If you’re looking for a striking, playful companion with loads of personality, Lorenzo’s your guy.
To meet Lorenzo, please submit our online adoption application

Because he is a confident cat who knows what he likes, Pepperoni will do best with a cat-savvy family who can read his signals. He’s generally easygoing but can become overstimulated if interactions go on for too long, so a home with older children or adults would be ideal.
Pepperoni would prefer to be the only cat in the family, where he can fully relax and enjoy his environment without feline roommates.
In the right home - one that appreciates his independent spirit as much as his affectionate side - Pepperoni is a wonderful companion: handsome, engaging, playful, and full of personality.
If you think you might be a good match for this handsome boy - the first step is to complete our online adoption application

Found alone as a tiny, sick, and injured kitten, Rascal spent his early months fighting to survive rather than learning to trust. His recovery took time, and while he got the medical care he needed, the lack of early socialization left him unsure about people. Still, he's made progress—especially lately. Volunteers who spend time with him report that he is curious and interactive, asks for pets, and enjoys playtime.
Like many cats stuck in a cage for too long, Rascal finds the confinement frustrating. He’s known to swipe and hiss when it's time to go back in—and honestly, we get it. It's likely his worst behavior is tied more to circumstance than character.
Rascal has feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), so his immune system is slightly compromised. However, he can live a full, happy life—even with other cats, as long as they get along. We can direct you to good independent resources to learn more about FIV.
We believe the shelter setting has stifled Rascal’s potential, and we’d love to see him in a calm, consistent foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can finally decompress and thrive. He needs an understanding cat person who will give him time, space, and gentle encouragement. In return, you’ll get the satisfaction of helping a once-forgotten, super handsome youngster grow into the confident cat he was always meant to be.
Looking for a rewarding rescue story? Rascal’s waiting for you.

Sierra must be adopted with another single cat, or be adopted into a home with at least one age- and energy-appropriate animal companion.

Tigger had a rough journey to our rescue. When he first arrived, he was scared, distrustful, and understandably overwhelmed by all the change. It took time, patience, and gentle care for him to feel safe again and settle into the happy-go-lucky cat we see today. Because of this, his transition into a new home should be slow and thoughtful - but the rewards for that patience are, as Tigger would say, “gonna be great!” We also believe Tigger will be happiest as an only cat.
What he truly wants is a person (or people) to call his own - someone to play with him, love him, admire and adore him, and continue giving him the sense of security that will allow him to blossom into a wonderful friend.
If you are interested in getting “Tigger-ized”, please submit our online adoption application at https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application.. Potential adopters need to live within 45 miles of Stamford, CT.

Timothy is a soft, gentle soul who can be a little cautious at first, but his confidence grows each day. He loves being petted and leans into affection. Catnip is a big hit with him, and he’s discovered the joy of cat toys and treats.
He’s currently living in a boarding facility and would thrive in a patient home where he can settle in, decompress, and continue to blossom. Timothy is FIV-positive, but he is healthy and expected to live a normal lifespan with the same veterinary care any cat should receive.
Timothy has a charming presence and a calm demeanor that make him easy to be around.
Could Timothy be your perfect match? To meet him, please submit our online adoption application

This exquisite dark gray tabby enjoys lap time, hanging out with her foster mom, and soaking up pets. She’ll shyly approach when she wants affection but then melt into your touch. Xena is also a playful youngster, horsing around with her brother or playing with mouse toys independently. She’s also an avid birdwatcher, whether through the window or on YouTube.
Because Xena spent the first six months struggling to survive outdoors, she can be cautious with new people and situations. But once she adjusts to her new home, she will be a devoted and fun companion.
She must be adopted into a home with another cat for companionship and playtime. While she and her brother, Thor, would make a fantastic pair, they do not have to be adopted together.
This little princess is ready for a loving, patient home where she can continue to thrive. Does this sound like a good match for you? Submit an adoption application today
