Chai: A twinkly star

Chai is a classic tuxie with a twist: she has a whole galaxy of star markings on her back. We estimate her age to be about 1-2 years old.

Chai is curious and observant. She likes to take in her surroundings, often watching her small world from a tunnel or atop a cat tree. Chai also has a playful side. She’s a talented hunter who loves stalking and pouncing on wand toys and fur mice.

Sweet Chai enjoys exploring at her own pace and will often settle near you once her curiosity is satisfied. She is affectionate once she knows and trusts you — accepting pets, rubbing against legs, or lounging close by — but she appreciates having her boundaries respected and will let you know when she needs space. At the moment, Chai is wary of being picked up, so needs a patient adopter in a quiet home where she is most likely to shine.

Chai is fairly independent and wants to keep some distance between herself and other cats, so she may do best as an only pet or, given enough space, with a very calm companion.
