Cheerio
Meet Cheerio, an affectionate and spunky 1-year-old medium-haired male kitty with lots of love and head butts to give. He is confident, super snuggly, and very energetic and loves lounging on laps. Like many teenagers, he can be a little sassy at times but he gets over it quickly. He will be happiest in a home with no young children. If you’d like to meet Cheerio, the first step in the process is to submit an adoption application.

Daisy
She's bright, and she's beautiful...meet 2-year-old, petite Daisy! She's absolutely blossomed after a caring person rescued her from a horrific situation and brought her to us. Enjoying her new life as the favored temporary office cat at Just Cats, she now owns so many things - a tunnel, several beds, access to office chairs and a desk - she can hardly believe her good luck! She's a sweet and loving kitty who will greet you with slow walking stretches to say "hello." And she has a playful side, too; little balls and toy mice are a few of her favorite things. She’s a good eater, very tidy, and well-mannered. Given her difficult start in life, Daisy would love a quiet home to call her own

Damen
Damen wants what every cat wants: a safe, comfortable home where he can be loved. He took matters into his own hands late last year when he walked into someone’s home. The family in the home adored him but couldn’t keep him. He’s in a foster home now and follows his foster mom around. He likes attention but won’t ask too much of you. His signature move is to wave a paw at his foster mom at feeding time. He loves cheek pets and is energetic and playful. He is chatty and will be happiest as the only cat in the conversation. He is looking for an experienced adopter and a home with teens-and-up. If you are interested in meeting Damon, please submit our online adoption application! Please note, we only place cats in homes in lower Fairfield County or nearby NY.

Frankie
Not just another pretty face! Say hello to Frankie, a 1.5 year old female. Frankie's got a softly colored, orange coat and that's something most feline girls don't have. She's also got a cute bobbed tail that we know nothing about, but nevertheless, suits her just fine! And, she has the admiration of a whole lot of FOF volunteers who have been blessed to get to know her. “How I love thee,” “makes my heart happy,” and “sweet and squeezable purr girl” are just a few volunteer comments. Frankie was found wandering on a downtown street. Initially terrified of everyone, she's getting her mojo back. She's playful, snuggly, full of purrs, loves to be pet, and has a Frankie-way of connecting with familiar people. She will be happiest in a quiet home with a patient family that will give her time to settle in as an only pet. We’re smitten with this beautiful, unique little girl and you will be too! If you’d like to meet our Frankie, please submit our adoption application!

Gordo
Gordo is a handsome 2-year-old who will sing his way into your heart with his beautiful meow songs. His outgoing personality makes him so lovable.

Jackson
Meet Jackson! Jackson was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him. This 10-year-old loves to play catch and enjoys being around people. Jackson is super smart, easily trainable, and will work hard for treats. He is a confident cat that knows what he wants and prefers attention on his own terms. Jackson would be happiest as an only cat in a home with adults and teens.
If you are interested in meeting Jackson, please submit an adoption application!

James
Are you fluent in cat and have a sense of humor? If yes, James could be the cat for you. This 3-year-old is a zany, energetic, physical boy. He loves galloping around and playing. He likes to be pet but will let you know when he is ready to move on. He is very food motivated and you can get him to do just about anything with food. James will be most comfortable in a forever home with teens-and-up where he can be your one and only cat.

Juniper
Now and then, we meet a truly remarkable cat. Juniper is one of them. Our volunteer team is crazy about this joyful 6-month-old girl. She loves to play, purr, knead, and hang out with people. Her joy is contagious. A kind person rescued Juniper from a horrible situation that probably included animal abuse. She bounced back quickly and will make a fabulous family companion. Juniper tested positive for Feline Leukemia with a regressive infection. PLEASE KEEP READING! We know so much more about this virus now. Cats with a regressive infection have a low risk of developing FeLV-related diseases. The regressive phase of FeLV infection is temporary for most cats, and they can become free of the virus within a few years. So for Juniper, the long-term outlook is good. Feline leukemia is a cat-only disease, so Juniper can live in a home with dogs and rabbits, or just with her favorite species - you! Please ask us if you have questions about FeLV. Fill out an adoption application and come and meet this joyful girl. #adoptme #rescuecatsrock #joy

Penelope and Tweety
Meet Penelope and Tweety, two of the world’s cutest and cuddliest kittens❣️ These sisters are 4 months old and living in one of our fabulous foster homes. Penelope is B&W, and Tweety is the tabby, both with medium-length hair. Penelope is bonkers in the best way! She is a non-stop little dynamo, and when she's in the mood to cuddle, you better put down everything you're doing and give her some love. She shoves her head under your hands, chin, or loose sleeves wherever she can find a nook. Tweety is a little more dignified but also extremely affectionate. She melts into you when you hold or pet her. They like other cats and are being introduced to the foster family dog. The pair must be adopted together, and they are ready for a forever home. Are you ready? To meet them, please submit an adoption application.

Praline and Tutti Fruiti
More sweet kittens available! Meet Praline, the black and white Harlequin kitty, and Tutti Fruiti, her colorful, tortoiseshell sister. They're a bonded pair born on the streets around April 19th and rescued by FOF. Then, with the best of luck, they landed in a great foster home where they've grown into affectionate lovebugs. They adore being pet, get along well with other cats, and are playful little purring machines. With their paws crossed, Praline and Tutti are now searching for a quiet (but fun!) forever home. The girls may need a few days to feel comfortable with you - "discerning" we call it - and once they do, they'll share all their love, luck and happiness with you!

Rachel and Hannah
Meet sisters Hannah and Rachel (born 4/20/22). Both are gentle, sweet, and playful. They have a kind quiet energy that would be a great addition to any home. They adore each other and must be adopted together but they also like other cats, loud-mouthed dogs, and kids. If you would like to meet these adorable girls, please submit our adoption application!

Tyler
In March 2022, we rescued a young, badly injured tomcat. We named him Tyler. His doctor says he may have been hit by a car or even horribly abused by a human. Tyler still bears the facial scars from his trauma, as well as a bad hind leg with degenerative arthritis. Another remnant of his tomcat past is his positive test for FIV. But after all the love showered on him by our volunteers, Tyler is ready to move on from his past and now needs a cat-savvy foster or adopter who will look beyond his scars to see the endearing cat we love. Tyler gets absolutely silly over ping-pong balls. He also really likes tunnels, wand toys, scratches with a back scratcher, and pets from his people. Life on the streets left Tyler leery of other cats, so he must be an only cat. With a quality diet, regular veterinary care, and lots of love, a positive FIV cat can live as long and as healthy as a non-FIV cat (learn more at https://www.fivcatrescue.org/fiv-what-is-fiv/). After a year of living in a cage, it’s time to get 3-year-old Tyler a loving home. Can you open your heart and home to this very deserving boy? Please visit https://www.fofct.org/adoption-app to apply. Applicants must reside within 45 miles of Stamford, CT, and have reliable transportation. We may restrict some cats to a smaller radius on a case-by-case basis.
