Caring For The Homeless And Forgotten Cats In Our Community
Kyle
Meet Kyle: A Polydactyl Treasure. Kyle is a charming 3-year-old tomcat with a heart as big as his extra toes! Kyle was recently rescued from the streets, where a neighbor affectionately dubbed him "Twinkle Toes" for his distinctive polydactyl front paws. Kyle is quickly adjusting to indoor life and is becoming quite the social butterfly! He's a talkative fellow who loves to engage with humans, offering plenty of head butts and body rubs to show his affection. You'll find him equally content lounging around or playing. Kyle gets along with relaxed feline companions but gets wound up around other aggressive cats. He would be happiest as an only cat or with a very gentle one (after a disciplined introduction process). Kyle is healthy and is now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped Like many rescued tomcats, he tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus); however, with proper care and love, Kyle's expected lifespan is just as bright as any other cat, although not every other cat will have Kyle's charming personality! Please check out this FAQ on FIV: https://americanpetsalive.org/uploads/resources/Austin-Pets-Alive-FIV-FAQ-52F6.pdf.
